Five unkeyed public samples, checklist reflections and original editorial cases do not satisfy the need for fresh full-scope verified-key Foundation practice.
Original editorial teaching and fictional application, informed by the linked primary passages. Compare your reasoning with the model; this is not independently marked learner work, an official examination key or a replacement for the selected course.
What this guide contributes.
Primary route: Selected PECB Foundation. These are selected related scope positions, not a claim that the guide teaches the entire objective/application/statement. Full scope and remaining depth are in the coverage register.

What the source review checked
- Scenario and evidence
- All assigned tasks
- All explained model items
- Self-checks
- Assigned readings
- Unresolved original need
Assigned public passages and original model guidance were checked. No learner work, paid course or full licensed standard was assessed; the remaining-needs section controls any closure claim.

2. Try the fictional case.
Build a source-labelled practice and error log
The learner has the public v1.5 handbook, the selected readings and the original fictional work items above. The learner has not obtained enrolled course practice or a current full keyed mock.
Your tasks
- Create a tracker for the handbook's two domains and all 65 statements, leaving unsupported coverage claims unresolved.
- Attempt a new fictional case, record reasoning and compare with the labelled editorial model.
- Record the provenance of every question and key, including the five official samples.
- Define what further evidence is needed before treating practice as a readiness check.
3. Compare your reasoning.
Decide and write your explanation first. Where a table is wider than your screen, focus it and use the arrow keys, or scroll it sideways.
Open explained model guidance
For each statement, record the bounded source, a new application task, observed reasoning, feedback provenance and unresolved points. Reading a link or recognizing a repeated answer is not mastery.
For an export case, write the decision and evidence before opening the model. Then distinguish a conceptual error, a missed assumption and an alternative defensible local choice. The model is Atlas editorial guidance, not PECB approval.
Label the handbook samples 'official question; public publisher key not found'. Leave any proposed answer explicitly unverified rather than inventing an official key or computing an official sample score.
When course practice is available, confirm the current edition, coverage, authorized key and feedback. Repeated items support retrieval; use fresh cases to test transfer. Complete required course activities and resolve persistent uncertainty before deciding about booking.
Learning method and formative practice only; no full current official keyed Foundation mock, validated pass mark, exam recreation or readiness prediction.
4. Check the work, not just the score.
- Does the tracker include every official statement without equating a link with coverage?
- Is every key labelled by its actual issuer/provenance?
- Are editorial models separated from publisher answers?
- Are missed/guessed/repeated items distinguished from fresh independent reasoning?
- Is any readiness or pass prediction withheld unless supported by suitable independent evidence?
These checks help you revise an explanation. They do not certify mastery or predict an examination result. Ask a qualified reviewer to assess a fresh case when independent feedback is needed.
5. Keep the limits in view.
Free coverage added
- Official sample-format orientation and a transparent coverage/error-log method.
- New linked ISMS application cases with editorial models and self-checks for ISO01–08; these are formative teaching, not an official test.
- Explicit separation of issuer questions, issuer keys, editorial explanations and readiness evidence.
Still missing or outside this guide
- Fresh legitimate PECB-aligned application/evaluation practice spanning both domains and all 65 competency/knowledge statements.
- Authorized verified keys and suitable feedback for a full current Foundation assessment; no free current full official keyed mock was verified.
- Provider correction of unresolved errors, plus current actual exam arrangements. An Atlas score cannot predict a pass.
Payment and access
OPEN. Inspect legitimate practice included in the selected paid PECB package first. A separate bank is optional and justified only by an evidenced remaining gap; no paid provider or bank was started.
